Back in 1985, Vermont Systems Inc. (VSI) built a software product that launched the recreation management industry. Decades later, despite having worked with close to 1,000 municipal and country agencies and every branch of the U.S. military, VSI was seeing its market share erode. They hired HMC to assist with research and a rebrand.

Working with a research contractor, I distilled a boatload of findings down to a new story on which VSI would build its effort to take on its rightful place as industry leader.
