While not all copywriting can (or should) be sexy, it still needs to be interesting and clearly written. It’s one of the reasons I enjoy writing case studies like this one for Capstone Turbine Corporation, an alternative energy company with projects that span the globe.
Assignments like this generally start with “just the facts” from the engineering team: the whats, whys, and hows of the installation. This technical raw content gets scrunched up into my English major brain and comes out on the other side as a case study narrative. I don’t aim to simply explain the project, I want to make sure it’s clear why the project mattered to my client’s customers and how this solution can help their would-be customers.
